Mizner Park is downtown Boca Raton distilled into four blocks: a palm-lined Plaza Real with restaurants spilling onto sidewalks, boutiques under pink Mediterranean-revival arcades, the Boca Raton Museum of Art anchoring the north end and the Mizner Park Amphitheater behind it. If your trip to Boca revolves around dinner reservations and a show, this is almost certainly where you are heading - and it is a straight 24-mile shot from FLL.

The drive runs I-95 north to Glades Road, then east to Federal Highway and south two blocks to the Plaza Real entrances. Around 30 minutes most of the day, closer to 40 when the evening rush stacks up between Commercial Boulevard and Sample Road. Your driver watches traffic in real time and leaves a buffer, because arriving at 7:40 for a 7:30 reservation is not our idea of service.

Drop-off is more useful here than a pin on a map. Plaza Real is a slow one-way loop with valet stands, so tell us the restaurant or the venue and the driver stops at its door - Louie Bossi, the Amphitheater gates before a concert, or the museum steps on a Sunday morning.
